Salesianum Introduces Bob Healy As New Varsity Lacrosse Coach

Wesley grad was 2005 coach of the year at Dover

Bob Healy, varsity coach of the Dover High School lacrosse team, was introduced as Salesianum's new varsity lacrosse coach on January 6. He met with his new players at the conclusion of the school day.

As head coach of the Senators since 2001, Healy guided two All-Americans and 21 players who continue to play at the collegiate level. He led Dover to the playoffs in each year as a head coach, and, in 2005, was named the Delaware Boys Lacrosse Coach of the Year.

A 1995 graduate of Wesley College, Healy previously served as an assistant coach to the college's football and lacrosse teams. He is currently a health education/physical education instructor at Dover High School and will continue in that position.

Salesianum School is a Roman Catholic independent secondary school that teaches young men to Live Jesus, guided by the spirituality of Saint Francis de Sales, through a college preparatory education, enabling them to take their place in the world as Salesian gentlemen.
