Five of them, seniors John Capasso and Thomas Mele, junior Kyle Davis (Level 4), sophomore Addison Maier (Level 3) and freshman Steven Foltz(Level 2) were finalists for a summer study to Germany for scoring above the ninetieth percentile nationally on their levels.

Mele received one of the prestigious Steuben Society prizes, Maier received a cash prize from the Delaware Saengerbund and Foltz received a Concordia Trust cash prize as well. Junior Scott Becker (Level 3) was the sixth award recipient from Salesianum.
