Salesianum School To Honor Fall Sports Teams For "Triple Crown" Accomplishments

Salesianum School will celebrate its unprecedented "triple crown" of the fall sports season on Friday, Jan. 13, with a pep rally honoring its championship teams

After capturing the football state championship on Dec. 2, Salesianum became the first school in Delaware to win all of its corresponding fall sports Ñ cross country, football and soccer.

The pep rally begins shortly after 9 a.m. in the Rev. John Birkenheuer, OSFS Gymnasium and will last about an hour.

Among the highlights will be a retrospective presentation from Bud Keegan Images, words from coaches Bill DiNardo, Ralph Heiss and Scott Mosier, and the unveiling of the 2005 championship banners in the gym.

Salesianum School is a Roman Catholic independent secondary school that teaches young men to Live Jesus, guided by the spirituality of Saint Francis de Sales, through a college preparatory education, enabling them to take their place in the world as Salesian gentlemen.
