Salesianum Students Exceed in National Spanish Examination

Several Salesianum School students merited levels of distinction in the National Spanish Examination conducted by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.

In the level two exam, freshman Dan Kowal placed second in the state of Delaware while sophomores Jon Marc Finamore and Kevin Kowal tied for third place. Sophomores Ryan Conaty and Martin Hageman both earned the fourth place spot in the state.

In the level three exam, the number one student in the state was junior Brett Chidester. Junior Jake Falandays also finished fifth.

Senior Matthew Hoberg was the first place finisher among all test takers in the level four exam.

Finally, in the level five exam, seniors Matthew Hamilton and Raymond Zeller both tied for the number four rank in the state of Delaware.

Salesianum is proud of these distinguished students and their respective teachers - Mr. Jack Kramer, Mrs. Norma Manolopoulos (cq) and Mrs. Maria Minutola.

Salesianum School educates and develops the whole person based on the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales whose philosophy can be summarized in "Live Jesus."
