Salesianum Senior Named National Achievement Scholarship Program Semifinalist

Only 800 students nationally receive award each years

Salesianum senior Dorsey Terry is a semifinalist in the 2007 National Achievement Scholarship Program.

More than 1,600 Black American high school seniors who have been designated Semifinalists in the 43rd annual Achievement Scholarship competition. These scholastically talented students have an opportunity to continue in the competition for approximately 800 Achievement Scholarship awards, worth some $2.5 million.

Approximately 1,300 Semifinalists are expected to attain Finalist standing in the 2007 National Achievement Program, and some 800 will become Achievement Scholar awardees.

Salesianum School is a Roman Catholic independent secondary school that teaches young men to Live Jesus, guided by the spirituality of Saint Francis de Sales, through a college preparatory education, enabling them to take their place in the world as Salesian gentlemen.
