Three Students Place in State Journalism Contest

Congratulations to seniors John Morgera, Brent Treml, and Tom Ratay, who all placed in the First State High Journalism Contest for their work in the Salesianum Review. John placed in 4 out of 13 categories of judging. Brent Treml won 1st place in the sports writing category, judged by the News Journal's Kevin Tresolini. Tom Ratay won 1st place in the Sports Photo category. 382 articles were judged.

Salesianum School is a Roman Catholic independent secondary school that teaches young men to "Live Jesus", guided by the spirituality of Saint Francis de Sales, through a college preparatory education, enabling them to take their place in the world as Salesian gentlemen.
