Phillip Vavala '66 Receives Siemens Award for His Work in Advanced Placement Program

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Phillip Vavala '66 is one of 50 teachers nationally to be named recipient of the 2006-2007 Siemens Award for Advanced Placement. This award recognizes his exemplary teaching and dedication to his students and to the Advanced Placement Program. The Siemens Foundations recognized that in a pool of extremely strong candidates from Delaware, Mr. Vavala's enthusiasm for teaching AP and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure students' success is outstanding.
