60th Annual Alumni Sports Banquet
The 60th Annual Alumni Sports Banquet will be on Tuesday, March 18, 2008
at 6 p.m. at Salesianum. Salesianum welcomes Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps,
returning senior Dane Grenda ’04 (University of Michigan ’08),
and emcee Tim Furlong ’92, who is a correspondent for NBC-10. Salesianum
will also pay tribute to members of the undefeated 1949 basketball team,
which began the tradition of the sports banquet 59 years ago.

The Class of 2007 was honored at the 59th Annual Alumni Sports Banquet
on Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Wrestling legend Dan Gable was the keynote
speaker, and Rickey Henderson ’03 was the returning senior. John
Kuderka ’07 represented his class as the senior speaker. Kevin Reilly
’69, a Salesianum Hall of Famer, was the emcee for the evening.
