Service Awards Opportunities

An exciting opportunity to be recognized for your service is the Jefferson Awards for Public Service. This award is presented throughout the Academic Year and to be eligible you must complete an application and be selected by our Team comprised of Juniors- Robert Liskewicz and Dominic Taglione, Mrs. Ballintyn and Fr. Ciriaco. One student per month will have their application submitted to the News Journal for recognition of their service. You must complete an application and each month's winner will be announced in the News Journal. Applications will be available on October 1st. We will be providing an official link for the Jefferson Awards by the end of this week. For now, to learn more about the Jefferson Awards, please visit the following link www.jeffersonawards.org

Another opportunity for your service to be recognized is the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. You must submit an on-line registration by visiting www.prudential.com/spirit. Once you have completed the application, print it, sign it, and have your parent sign-it and then send it in to Mrs. Ballintyn here at Salesianum School. The application must be submitted by October 31st to be considered for this award. The School's top leaders will be submitted to the Prudential Award state level judging panel. This student will receive the President's Volunteer Service Award and will be eligible for the state award, which is an unresticited $1,000, an engraved medallion and a wonderful trip to Washington, D.C. next Spring. Please remember to be eligible, you must submit your application by October 31st to Mrs. Ballintyn in Room A066.
