Resumes

Some tips for writing a resume:

  • Contact information: full name, phone number, school and permanent address and e-mail address.
  • Education: date of completion, honors, special courses.
  • Experience: volunteer work, work, extracurricular activities.
  • Skills: computer skills, etc.
  • Other: list awards, leadership positions and other achievements.

Schools usually want to know what you are involved in and what years you participated. In addition they want to know how many hours you put into an activity and if you received any special recognition or awards.
