Standardized TestsScholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)It is strongly recommended that all juniors take the SAT sometime in the second semester (January-June). It is also recommended that seniors who wish to improve on their score take the SAT during the Fall semester. Registration can be completed online at Collegeboard.com. Test dates are as follows:
* The October 6th and May 3rd administrations are offered at Salesianum. The test center code for Salesianum is 08-165. Test center locations and codes for the other dates can be found in the S.A.T. registration bulletin beginning on page 10 or on The College Board website. The school code for Salesianum is 080195. This number is required each time a Salesianum student takes the SAT in order to have the scores sent to the guidance department for placement on his official transcript.** SAT prep courses are available at several locations throughout the area. Contact your guidance counselor for more information.

All Juniors and Sophomores are expected to take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 17th.
Results from the PSAT will be distributed to the students in mid-December during homeroom. To find out more information on how to use your PSAT scores, go to the College Board's website: www.collegeboard.com/psatextra. The College Board recommends extra preparation for those students who have a difference of 7 points or more between their Math and Verbal scores.
