Athletic Activities

Blue-Gold Club: Moderator: Mr. DiNardo –- The purpose of this organization is to raise awareness about people with cognitive disabilities. All events directly benefit the Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with Cognitive Disabilities and the All-Star Football Game held in June. Students organize fundraisers and oversee all activities during Blue-Gold Week.

Martial Arts Club: Moderator: Mr. Keville –- This club meets to discuss the various philosophical, kinesthetic, cultural, and ethical dimensions of the ancient practice that continues to drive body development in the Western cultures.

Roller Hockey Club: Moderator: Mr. Lang –- The roller hockey club will officially compete in the Blue Diamond High School League during the fall season. There will be 2-3 pre-season practices, a ten game season with playoffs and a championship game to end the season.

Skateboarding Club: Moderator: Fr. McCandless, OSFS –- The skateboarding club will meet periodically throughout the year on “G” days and travel to Newport Skate Park.

Ultimate Frisbee Club: Moderator: Mr. LoSapio –- UFC is a very fast-paced game involving the skill of throwing and catching a frisbee. UFC stresses sportsmanship and fair play, as well as having FUN!

Intramural Bowling: Moderator: Mr. Johnson - Students and faculty compete in a series of bowling matches. Click here for more information.
