Football

The Salesianum football program started in 1921 under the direction of Mr. Arthur “Brick” Malloy. For a span of 6 years, from 1939 to 1944, the football program was suspended due to World War II. Over the years, Salesianum football teams have competed against over 130 teams from six states and the Washington, D.C. area. There have been over 30 in-state teams and more than 100 teams from out of state that have played Salesianum.

The Salesianum Football Team has won five state championships, while also placing second in the state tournament four times.
