Music Tech Students Create Original Compositions
Salesianum School has a wide ranging curriculum that allows students to explore their entire range of God given talents and interests. One of the many classes that emphasize this is the Music Technology class. Taught by Mr. Brian Cox, Salesianum's fine arts chair and music director, the class uses a blend of technology and traditional music study to show students how to compose and arrange music.
Part of the students' final project is to create a completely original composition using the technology available to them and skills they have learned.
Many of the students in the class commented on how the unique blend of art and technology helped to develop both creative and analytical skills.
