Special Needs Accommodations

A variety of educational accommodations are being used by Salesianum students. The nature of the instructional or evaluative accommodation is dependent upon the students individual diagnosed and documented special learning needs.

 

Extended time testing
Qualified students may receive up to 50% more time for classroom tests.

 

Textbooks on CD-ROM
Qualified students may receive the services provided by the Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic of Princeton, New Jersey.

 

Note takers
Qualified students may receive a copy of a teacher's lecture notes, a copy of another student's class notes, or use assistive technologies.

 

Computer Testing
Qualified students may use a computer to take classroom essay tests.
