Scholarships and Financial Aid
Salesianum annually awards approximately $800,000 in tuition assistance. While part of this amount is awarded as four year academic scholarships to outstanding performers on the entrance and placement exam, by far the larger part of tuition assistance goes to students as need based grants.
Salesianum does not offer scholarships or Financial Aid based upon a student's athletic ability.
Four year academic scholarships are awarded to applicants who have the highest national percentile composite schools on the November Placement Test. Each student awarded an academic scholarship must maintain a quarterly GPA of at least 3.00 and not be placed on disciplinary probation for any reason. See the Financial Policies in the Student Handbook for additional information.
Financial Aid is based solely on demonstrated need. Any family who feels unable to afford the full cost of tuition is encouraged to apply for financial aid.
We use School and Student Services (SSS) to process financial aid applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Based on the financial information you provide, SSS gives us an estimated amount your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps us make fair and objective financial aid decisions.
