2012 School Opening Schedule
Monday, August 27
First Day of Classes - Non-Letter Day: all students will go to all 8 classes in the following order:
Homeroom-A1-A2-A3-A4-A5-A6-B2-B3-Homeroom
- All students report to homeroom upon arrival at school. Homerooms will open by 7:30am. Students will obtain locker information and setup lockers. All students should bring their school-issued lock and report to homeroom no later than 8:10 AM. Students without locks can purchase them in the school store. Students should see NetClassroom for their homeroom assignments. Students who have a lock but need the combination should see Mrs. Looney in the main lobby before school or during study hall time.
- Students still needing to purchase a parking space should see Mrs. Looney in the main lobby before school or during study hall time. Students are strongly encouraged to purchase a parking space by visiting our main office before the first day of school during office hours (8:00am-3:00pm). Students need a completed form and payment to purchase a space (form available on www.salesianum.org). Students planning to park at school who have not purchased a parking space should park in the state lot (across from the Abessinio Science Center), at Baynard Stadium, or on Broom Street.
- Students in Ursuline-Padua exchange classes will attend an orientation meeting in the Library during the A1 PERIOD. Exchange begins September 6.
- Students with a scheduled open time (study hall) will attend an orientation meeting in the Auditorium. After the brief orientation, students will have the opportunity to clear-up any parking or locker issues. (4th period only: report to Library)
- Dress code: standard school dress code. Students should bring sports coats to be stored in the locker. Sophomores and Juniors will have official school photos taken on Tuesday or Wednesday during religion classes; these students will need their completed photo packets on Tuesday or Wednesday.
- Lunch can be purchased with cash or with the ID card if the account has money.
- Following is the bell schedule for August 27 (subject to change):
