Sixty-Six Salesianum Students Earn A.P. Scholar Designation

Sixty-six students at Salesianum School have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams.

 

Students took AP Exams in May 2011 after completing challenging college-level courses at Salesianum School. The College Board recognizes levels of achievement based on student's performance on AP Exams.

 

At Salesianum School, three students qualified for the National AP Scholar Award by earning an average score of 4 or higher on a five-point scale on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams. These students are Jason Cramer, Lincoln Lamberton, and James Luck.

 

Twenty-three students qualified for AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students are Stephen Chicosky, Jason Cramer, Brian Day, Dante DiSimplico, James Duffy, William Facciolo, James Gannon, Stephen Gilcrest, Colin Harrison, Eric Hartley, Kevin Jablonowski, James Kearns, Brian Kirkland, Lincoln Lamberton, James Luck, Jerrod Macfarlane, Dillon McLaughlin, Andrew Minutella, Eric Moore, Nicholas Paulson, Eamon Schlotterback, Andrew Smith, and Stephen Trolio.

 

Seventeen students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. These students are Thomas Berkman, Orlando Castillo, Blaise Clair, Luke Clay, Christia Colton, Daniel Delaney, Andrew DeMaio, Michael Everett, David Fiumara, Peter Flood, David Hart, Joseph Hendron, Samuel Mattiola, James Raiford, Ronald Schiltz, Joseph Turk, and Edward Wilks.

 

Twenty-six students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of 3 or higher. The AP Scholars are Patrick Barboun, Patrick Beane, Thomas Brooks, Evan Budischak, Luke Bugada, Taylor Clark, Adam Dryden, Kyle Fisher, James Goodavage, Alexander Hampel, Matthew Hilger, Theodore James, Sean Kealey, Andrew Keener, Parker Knox, Najeeb Madanat, Zachary Magner, John McGonigal, Kevin O'Connor, Nick Paoli, Keith Piotti, Thomas Piraino, Matthew Shaw, Kevin Taylor, Kevin Vanover, and Daniel Willey.

 

Of this year's award recipients at Salesianum School, 11 earned their status as members of the junior class: Patrick Barboun, Patrick Beane, Evan Budischak, Luke Bugada, Orlando Castillo, Luke Clay, James Goodavage, Theodore James, Kevin O'Connor, Nick Paoli and James Raiford. These students have one more year in which to complete college-level work and possibly earn another AP Scholar Award.
