Five Salesianum School senior soccer players announced their 2012-13 intentions, including one player who received a Division I scholarship to Saint Joseph’s University.

Midfielder Adam Wissner (Landenberg, Pa.) will suit up for the Hawks next year, and was joined by his parents Josh and Kathleen at the signing.

The York College of Pennsylvania will welcome three Salesianum alumni to its program this fall. Twin brothers Christopher (midfielder) and Brendan (forward) Saberton (Wilmington) will join teammate Nelson Lundgaard (forward – Greenville) as Spartans next year. Christopher and Brendan were joined by their parents, James and Mary, while Nelson’s father Per posed with Nelson after announcing his commitment.

Midfielder P.J. Meyer (Wilmington) will commit to Muhlenberg College in the fall. His mother, Christine, joined him after announcing he would be joining the Mules in 2012.

The players leave the Salesianum soccer program as reigning two-time state champions.
