After School Study

The After School Study Program is offered by Salesianum School to assist students who are in need of the additional supervision that may enable them to be successful in our rigorous academic environment. Students who participate in this program are assisted with organizational and time management skills and are actively encouraged to seek additional assistance from their teachers or from a peer tutor.

The program is offered on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from dismissal until 3:30. Students are required to arrive promptly and to sign in and to sign out of each session. Students use a log sheet and have their classroom teacher or peer tutor verify the time that they spent receiving assistance. If a student is not receiving assistance from a teacher or peer tutor, he must be working in the room assigned for After School Study.

Freshmen who have special learning needs are invited to participate in the program. Sophomores, juniors and seniors with special needs may choose to participate.
