Freshman Tuition Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the annual tuition is due with student
registration upon receiving notification of acceptance from Salesianum.
This deposit is
deducted from the full payment (Plan A), and the tuition amount when calculating
semester payments for Plan B and the monthly payment for Plan C.
Tuition Refund Insurance
Salesianum offers a Tuition Refund Insurance Plan as a means to insure
your annual financial obligation under the terms of the Tuition Contract.
Tuition Refund Insurance is optional and will be provided by an outside
vendor, A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. Once a student is enrolled, his family is
responsible for the entire year's tuition. The purchase of tuition
insurance is a protection of a family's investment in case a student
must withdraw from Salesianum. The insurance coverage provides a pro
rated refund of the tuition for students who withdraw during the school
year for illness, injury, academic, disciplinary, economic or other
reasons consistent with the terms of the Tuition Refund Insurance Plan
(Broad Form). The tuition insurance premium charge will be invoiced
in July.
Sallie Mae K-12 Family Education Loan
Another option available to Salesianum parents to help manage tuition and
other school charges is the Sallie
Mae K-12 Family Education Loan. You can
borrow for tuition and other education related expenses such as books and
transportation.
For further information on the Sallie Mae K-12 Family Education loan visit www.salliemae.com Select ‘I’m a Parent’ under the heading ‘Start Your Application’, then select K-12 Family Education Mae K-12 Family Education Loan. This program offers longer repayment terms, no prepayment penalties, and affordable interest rates which may make tuition payments more manageable for your family. Refer to Salesianum’s school code, 607518-00, when completing your application.
Fees are separate from Tuition and are non-refundable.
Textbooks
Textbooks are available for purchase through VarsityBooks.com.

to bring lunch to school. Salesianum speedpass system offers quicker
checkout and cashless convenience, for more information visit MealPayPlus.
Transportation
For students using Salesianum Transportation, charges will be added to
a student's account in July. Payments are included in the Payment Plan
schedule chosen for Tuition. Transportation charges are due in full and
are non-refundable after August 30.
Delaware students living more than two miles from Salesianum that do not use Salesianum Transportation currently receive a State of Delaware subsidy payment (one per family.) Families will be given the opportunity to donate their subsidy to Salesianum's Annual Fund or receive the subsidy payment by check.
