Salesianum students receive dynamic instruction in the fundamentals of music history, theory, technology and the mechanics of creating and performing music. Our curriculum embraces a variety of approaches to developing a lifelong appreciation for, and the ability to communicate with, music. From traditional lectures, guest performers and improv sessions to discussing musical genres and trends, students will gain a well-rounded foundation in the musical arts.

Salesianum also offers a variety of performing arts groups for students to participate in, including Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, Brass Ensemble and Chorus. Each of these groups brings its own unique addition to Salesianum’s culture and school spirit. In addition to performing for the school community and local charities, several of these music affinity groups participate in special trips and competitions throughout the year.
