Students Travel to El Salvador On BRIDGE Trip

Over Easter Break, our second BRIDGE (Building Relationships in Diverse Global Environments) trip was to El Salvador. Through visiting cathedrals and local communities in many different locations, our students had an incredible experience. They were able to connect with the people and understand their stories.

This experience provides life-long learning opportunities that are unforgettable. Dom Amato '22 said the following about his experience, "Throughout our week, whether it was playing soccer with the local kids, listening to testimonies of children lost to human trafficking, or hearing of the hardships faced by all the people of El Salvador due to past and current conflict, there were always three main themes: gratitude, passion, and most importantly solidarity. Even in the face of nothing, these people were ready to give everything. I’ll never forget the people we met and the lessons we learned."
