Mandatory Senior Orientation: Sunday, August 25
This is a reminder that as the new school year begins, Salesianum will hold its annual Senior Orientation, a one day, Mandatory Program for rising Seniors and Senior Parents, on Sunday, August 25 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. This program will cover several important action items leading into senior year and the college application season.

Over the course of the day, students will engage in the following activities:
  • Migrate Common Application account created in Junior Advisory to this year
  • Connect the Common Application account to Naviance for application tracking
  • Submit a revised draft of the general application essay
  • Review the process of submitting test scores to schools directly from testing organizations
  • Refine college lists in preparation for individual senior college meetings
  • Review process of signing up for visits by colleges and universities to Salesianum

During the program, parents will review Naviance and learn how to use this program to track student applications and transcript requests. Parents will also receive valuable information about the college financial aid process and be provided with a copy of their son’s transcript for review.

In addition to the college application process, seniors and their parents will also receive important information on many events and opportunities that come with their final year of high school: Ring Mass, Senior Prom, Graduation, and more.
