What We Are Doing

  • In accordance with Governor Carney's declaration of a Public Health State of Emergency, Salesianum will not resume classes or host school events on campus until at least May 15, or until the declaration originally issued on March 12, 2020, is amended. All on campus events, including athletics are canceled or postponed through May 15. We will update this page as additional information becomes available.
  • In response to our extended closure, the Salesianum Distance Learning Program began on March 23, with students receiving course content and assignments remotely.
  • Salesianum has announed the formation of a COVID-19 Emergeny Relief Fund and has pledged $500,000 from cash reserves to provide  financial aid for students currently enrolled or scheduled to enroll for the 2020/2021 academic year. The school is committed to making sure that no student is forced to leave Salesianum because of the financial burden imposed upon his family by the Coronavirus. Salesianum has also pledged an additional $500,000 to provide assistance to employees in the event of illness or income loss due to job loss/reduction of a spouse/partner.
  • We are seeking the support of our community to provide additional resources to help us meet 100 percent of the demonstrated need of families affected by the coronavirus. To donate, please follow this link.
  • Salesianum's facilities team has deep-cleaned our physical plant during the week of March 16-22, and we have suspended all facilities rentals through May 15.
  • Salesianum faculty and staff continue to work to maintain programming, ongoing projects and planning, and regular school business, including remote learning.
