We understand that choosing a Salesianum School education is a commitment, yet we also believe it is one of the best investments you can give your son. We recognize that affordability is an essential consideration for parents, so we offer financial aid assistance, scholarships, and merit-based awards. Thanks to the support of generous alumni, parents, and friends of the school, we award over $4 million in tuition assistance each year to make Salesianum affordable across the region.

Tuition

Tuition for the 2023-24 school year is $19,500.

Affordability

Salesianum offers merit-based academic scholarships, fine arts scholarships, and need-based financial aid grants totaling more than $2,000,000 yearly.

Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships are awarded to a student based on his score on the October Placement Exam. Students scoring in the top percentile may qualify. Families will be notified of any award with their admission decision letter.

Fine Arts Scholarships

Salesianum offers fine arts scholarships for $2,500 per year in the following areas: Instrumental Music, Vocal, Theater, and Visual Arts. To be eligible to apply, your son must complete a school application first. Then, apply for the scholarship on the Admissions portal. The due date to apply is November 15, 2023.

Financial Aid

The Financial Aid program is designed to make a Salesianum education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. Salesianum School is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application, which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

To get started, please create an account at the Clarity Application. The application typically takes less than thirty minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is mobile-friendly, so you can complete it anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as Salesianum requires you to upload additional tax documentation.

Applications will open on September 15, 2023. While we will continue to review and approve applications submitted after our initial deadline of November 30th, please be aware that there are limitations on our financial aid budget.

For helpful information on completing the form, read the documentation below.
You can contact the Family Support contact at 1-206-210-3752 or support@clarityapp.com to assist you. Any additional questions regarding the financial aid application process may be directed to mwinchell@salesianum.org.

Financial Aid is reviewed on a yearly basis. Current Families must re-apply each year.

Tuition Loans

Another tuition management option is a personal loan. Salesianum has partnered with DEXSTA Federal Credit Union to offer maximum flexibility in choosing a loan.

DEXSTA Federal Credit Union offers unsecured personal loans that can be used to pay tuition. Families must qualify for membership. Visit www.dexsta.com for more information.
