Medication and Severe Allergies

Severe Allergy Medication Request
For all students with severe food allergies, please send in an Epipen or Auvi-Q to the school nurse along with a prescription label.  Also, be sure that the information and allergy action plan are completed in School Docs.

Medication During the School Day
Students are not permitted to carry medications with them during the school day, except for Asthma inhalers and Epipens with documented permission.  If your son requires a medication to be administered during the school day, please contact the nurse at smansi@salesianum.org and go to the School Docs portal to detail the information in your son’s profile.  The medication can be sent in with your son in a sealed envelope with the nurse’s name on the front of the envelope and the amount of the drug contained inside.
