Senior Seamus Oliver Named National Merit Semifinalist

Congratulations, Seamus!
Seamus Oliver '22 has been named a semifinalist in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Competition.

Seamus's selection qualifies him to join other academically talented high school seniors for the opportunity to continue in the National Merit Scholarship competition in which 7,500 scholarships, worth more than $30 million, will be offered next spring. To be considered for a Merit Scholarship award, semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to advance to the finalist level of the competition.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), a not-for-profit organization, was established in 1955 to conduct the annual National Merit Scholarship Program. NMSC underwrites scholarships with its funds and by approximately 440 business organizations and higher education institutions that share NMSC's goals of honoring the nation's scholastic champions and encouraging the pursuit of academic excellence.

Congratulations to Seamus for his outstanding accomplishment.
