Several Students Attended Wilmington's 5th Annual HBCU College Fair

Since 2017, the city of Wilmington, under the leadership of Mayor Michael S. Purzycki, sponsors Historically Black College & Universities (HBCU) Week. During the week, events surrounding the engagement, celebration, and education of Black Colleges and Universities are center. One of the more important events in the College Fair is where many of the 107 HBCUs are represented and made available for students in the Wilmington area to learn, apply, and potentially be accepted on the spot.

Along with our sister school Padua Academy, some students from the Black Student Union (BSU) attended the college fair to learn about the many HBCUs presents. Two students from the class of 2022, Jaiden Mason & Dariyon Williams were accepted to Delaware State University, with Dariyon receiving a full 4-year academic scholarship to attend. Congratulations to both Jaiden and Dariyon for being the first of the senior class to be accepted and special accolades to Dariyon for your achievement!
