Alison Kloiber Is A GeoKids LINKS Fellow at Saint Joseph's University

Congratulations to Science teacher Alison Kloiber for being a graduate fellow in The GeoKids Learning Integrating Nature, Kids, and Science (LINKS) fellowship program at Saint Joseph's University. LINKS Fellows spend two years working with the Wagner Free Institute of Science (WFIS) educators, Saint Joseph's faculty, and School District of Philadelphia teachers to implement a hands-on science curriculum. In addition, Fellows work to complete a master's degree in Biology, paid for by the program, along with a living stipend.

Alison initially became involved as an undergraduate, working a part-time job with the group when she worked at Bishop McDevitt High School. Joining the GeoKids LINKS fellowship program allowed her to pursue research and education simultaneously, leading her into teaching. She joined Salesianum in 2021 and is currently teaching Biology, AP Environmental Science, and Ecology.
