Vaccination Opportunities - Age 12 and Older

The FDA has expanded emergency use authorization for the Pfizer vaccine to 12 to 15 year olds. The Pfizer vaccine is readily available in pediatrician’s offices, pharmacies, and stand alone clinics for high school age groups. It is largely recognized as being safe and effective in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and preventing serious symptoms in rare breakthrough cases.

We recognize vaccination is a family decision made with input from pediatricians or medical providers. Salesianum will not be requiring the COVID vaccine for the fall, but strongly supports vaccination as a means for our school community to transition back to normal. If you have questions, please contact our School Nurse, Suzanne Mansi, at >>Delaware Vaccination Information

COVID protocols are being reviewed this summer with consideration of State and CDC recommendations and guidelines. Please stay tuned for more information which we will share prior to the start of school in August.

Parents of all incoming Freshmen and Transfer students must complete the Health profile in the SchoolDocs health portal accessible via the OnCampus resource board.  >>View the new student health packet

A completed DIAA Athletic Physical and Consent Form 2021-2022 is required for all fall season athletes by August 2 and by August 9 for all new students. For all returning students, parents need to log into SchoolDocs and review and approve the previously entered information and provide any updates to health information or medications. For more information on physicals, see the Athletics section below. Step-by-step instructions for logging on to School Docs and uploading the necessary forms and information can be found in the following link: SchoolDocs 21-22.docx

Please note that there is a new question regarding the COVID vaccine under the immunizations tab, this is a required field. The information will enable us as a school community to gauge our percent of vaccinated students and will also help to best prepare for the appropriate protocols to be observed.
