Salesianum Honors Class of 2026 Junior Recognition Award Recipients

Salesianum School recently honored members of the Class of 2026 during its annual Junior Recognition Awards ceremony, celebrating students for their academic excellence, leadership, service, and character. Director of College & School Counseling, Deneen Brown, announced the recipients, whose achievements reflect the highest ideals of the Salesian mission.
 
The Harvard University Prize Book Award, given to students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, high character, and achievement across various fields, was awarded to Roman Trubiano and Declan Takam.
 
Adam Mennicucci received the Brown University Book Award for outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
 
The Tulane University Book Award, recognizing excellence in academics, leadership, and public service, was awarded to Connor Kirby, aligning with the university's motto.
 
Brian Murphy was honored with the William & Mary Leadership Book Award for his strong leadership both inside and outside the classroom.
 
Brady Kropp received the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Innovation Award, which includes a $25,000 annual scholarship, in recognition of his accomplishments in STEM and the embodiment of WPI’s core values.
 
The University of Rochester recognized four students: Samuel Fielding (Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Scholarship), Joseph Conley (George Eastman Young Leaders Award), Solomon Abbey (Frederick Douglass & Susan B. Anthony Award), and Christian Williams (Xerox Award for Innovation and Information Technology).
 
The Rochester Institute of Technology honored four juniors: Jack Cunningham (Humanities & Social Sciences), Liam Watson (Science and Math), Thomas Raschilla (Art & Design), and Abraham Castellano (Business & Leadership).
 
Anthony Polizzi was presented with the prestigious Rensselaer Medal, which includes a $40,000 annual scholarship for excellence in math and science.
 
The University of Vermont Citizen Scholar/Book Award was given to Michael Moran for his demonstrated commitment to making a positive impact on his community.
 
The Bowdoin Book Award, recognizing a student’s service to the common good and innovative thinking, was awarded to Connor Dever.
 
Jared Hitchens received the Alfred University Scholars Award, which recognizes leadership and service and includes a scholarship ranging from $18,000 to $30,000.
 
Saint Bonaventure University selected several students for its Bonnie Scholarships, each worth $22,000 annually: Thomas Bamonte, Connor Henley, Jonah Landis, Mack Medeiros, James Vella, Jack Waldorf, and Julius Williams.
 
Clarkson University honored three students with major scholarships: Vincenzo Colonna (Leadership Scholarship, $100,000), Kyan Rowe (School Scholars Award, $100,000), and Cristian Jaco (Achievement Award, $80,000).
 
The Colonel Emerging Leader Award from Wilkes University, which includes an $8,000 scholarship, was awarded to Zach Baldino, Brady Campbell, Landon Johnson, and Seth Reisman.
 
Finally, the Junior Scholars Program at High Point University recognized Sean Albert, Stephen Catalina, Griffin Stryker, Franco Vranic, and Tai Wu for their academic excellence, leadership, and engagement in school life.
 
Congratulations to all honorees for their remarkable achievements and for representing the spirit of the Salesian Gentleman.
