Brendan Mack ’28 Wins Sunfish Fleet Champion in MAYRA South Jersey Summer Series

Brendan Mack ’28 recently sailed his way to the top, earning the title of 2025 Mid-Atlantic Yacht Racing Association (MAYRA) South Jersey Summer Series (SJSS) Sunfish Fleet Champion. Mack was honored at a recent awards ceremony, where he proudly received the blue First Place double burgee flag.

This summer, Brendan distinguished himself as the only sailor in the Sunfish Fleet to flag in all seven regattas, a testament to his dedication and consistency on the water. His season highlight came at the Avalon Yacht Club regatta, where he achieved a rare feat—winning all five races outright, a near-unheard-of sweep in competitive sailing.

In addition to his regional success, Brendan also captured the title of Sunfish Fleet Champion at his home club, The Greater Wildwood Yacht Club. His achievements mark him as a rising star in the sailing community. Congratulations, Brendan!
