Jimmy Conley '22
Salesianum would like to commend senior Jimmy Szpak on being given the Harry Roberts Senior Scholar-Athlete Award! This accolade, established by the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA), was named in honor of Dr. Harry Roberts, a former Superintendent of Caesar Rodney School District and former Chair of the DIAA Sportsmanship Committee. The Harry Roberts Senior Scholar-Athlete Award is presented to students who exemplify the values of scholarship, leadership, and athletic excellence. Since 1999, it has been awarded to 148 scholarship recipients from over 40 different schools in Delaware.

Szpak has been a talented individual in and out of the classroom during his time at Salesianum. He was an AP Capstone Diploma candidate and has completed 14 AP courses. Szpak is also a member of the Math League and Science Olympiad. Athletically, he was the cross-country team captain, leading his team to a state championship, and was a varsity athlete in winter and spring track. Lastly, Szpak has led multiple service initiatives and has been an impactful student leader for others. The Salesianum community is so proud of you, Jimmy, and looks forward to big things in the future!
