Salesianum Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists

In October 2024, more than 1.3 million juniors from 20,000 high schools nationwide took the Preliminary SAT (PSAT). Based on the scores, approximately 16,000 semifinalists, less than 1%, qualified as semifinalists for the prestigious National Merit Scholarship. The National Merit Scholarship Program, established in 1955, recognizes the nation’s most academically talented students and supports their pursuit of higher education.

We recognized seniors Brady Kropp and Adam Menicucci, who were named Semifinalists in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. This honor reflects their commitment to academic excellence and places them among the top high school seniors in the nation. Semifinalists now have the opportunity to advance as Finalists, competing for nearly 6,930 scholarships valued at close to $26 million.

Their recognition by the National Merit Scholarship Program is not only a personal achievement but also a reflection of the academic rigor and supportive environment of our school. We wish them all the best in the following stages of the competition. Congratulations to Brady and Adam!
